Video installation, dimensions variable
Four videos of about 15 minutes are shown simultaneously. In each video, you see a young couple discussing their relationship, struggling through their conflicting feelings, and eventually breaking up. As much as this work is about the language that our generation uses to express emotions, it is also about the impossibility to communicate emotions the exact way they are felt. And what happens when the person who leaves the relationship actually leaves the room? The remaining person finds comfort in smoking a cigarette or having a beer, playing guitar or watching TV with a friend. //
