5 zines that combine to a poster

Unlimited edition

Conceived and realized in my apartment during the Covid lockdown, these five zines are reflections on the online retailer Amazon – from a diary of my own purchases over an excerpt from a book of poetry, and a playful appropriation of Amazon’s logo (the smile – shown upside down – also functions as a powerful symbol for the labor movement campaigning against Amazon), to the uproar and gossip over Jeff Bezos’s “dick pics” (the true true obscenity being his wealth?!). Each zine, once unfolded, has an image of a volcano eruption on its back side, and the five images can be combined to a poster. The zines were mailed to my peers as gifts.
